Bahang Bay Hotel is a newly opened hotel in Teluk Bahang, Penang.

There's a new kid on the block. Bahang Bay Hotel has just recently opened its doors to the public on the 17 July 2020. The 4-star Muslim-friendly hotel located at Teluk Bahang is owned by the Lembaga Kemajuan Wilayah Pulau Pinang (PERDA)  and  it's near to some of Penang's main attractions such as ESCAPE, Entopia Butterfly Farm, Teluk Bahang Dam, Taman Rimba  Teluk Bahang and Penang Tropical Fruit Farm. The hotel houses 160 spacious rooms and suites with 4 categories of accommodation to choose from  - Deluxe Nature View,  Deluxe Sea Facing,  Premier Suite and Executive Premier Suite.

We were privileged to experience a stay over at the hotel and here's a glimpse of the brand new hotel.

Just beside the lobby is where the business centre, kids club,  beauty parlour and convenience store is. During our visit only the business centre and kids club was open. The rest is said to be opening soon.








The room was comfortable with modern contemporary ambiance.

You find basic amenities like mini safe box, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, minibar fridge, coffee and tea making among others.

We actually love the design that they had at Lesong Coffee House. Modern comfy with some traditional elements touches to it. Lesong is the Malay term for mortar and pestle, where various ingredients mainly herbs and spices are pounded together. So it's of a similiar identity that this coffee house wishes to convey, a mix of diverse cuisines coming from our multicultural diversity.






A private space is also available.

We were given an order chit to tick our choice of breakfast items during check-in. 

This was what we had for breakfast and you should try their nasi lemak. Sedappppppp! Delish!!!!!
